The Trainee Advisory Council (TAC) was formed to support the mission of DRS “to attract and encourage new investigators to the field and foster their development in a collegial and supportive environment.”
The goals of the council include:
Acting as a liaison between student trainees of the society and the members of the DRS Board of Directors
Increasing student membership and engagement in the DRS
Organizing educational and networking events for students at the annual meeting and throughout the year
