Springer Publishing Junior Investigator Travel Grant

The Springer Publishing Junior Investigator Travel Grant is designed to provide support to junior presenters to attend and present at the Annual DRS Meeting. The travel grant will comprise $500.00 USD reimbursement for travel related expenses to attend the meeting. This year, we will award a total of 4 Travel Grants, with two in each of the following two categories: a) Junior investigator who residues in the United States or Canada; b) International presenter who resides in a country outside of the United States or Canada.

  • Applicant must have submitted and be accepted for either a paper or poster presentation.
  • Applicant must be presenter and first author on the submission.
  • Applicants must be presenting either for the first or second time at DRS.
  • Applicants must provide proof that they are either a current student or an early career investigator within 5 years of their terminal degree – PhD or MD.

The applicant must provide the following documents to the review committee:

  1. Letter of Intent: A personal statement explaining how attending the Annual DRS Meeting will help your clinical and/or research career goals in 250 words or less.
  2. Curriculum Vitae

NOTE: Previous recipients of this award and previous/current recipients of the CSDRG Logemann Travel Grant or the DRS Sponsor-A-Student campaign will not be eligible (i.e. there is a lifetime limit of one travel grant per candidate).
