Bronwyn Jones, MD, FRACP, FRCR

Bronwyn Jones was born in Sydney, Australia. She attended Medical School at the University of New South Wales and graduated cum laude. She boarded in Internal Medicine in Australia and then trained in Radiology in London, England. She is boarded in Radiology in both England and the USA. She is Professor of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Director of the Johns Hopkins Swallowing Center and Editor-Emeritus of the Journal, Dysphagia.

She is a founding member and past president of the Dysphagia Research Society and past president of the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists. She is one of two archivists for the Dysphagia Research Society and author of over 115 original papers, over 60 chapters. She has co-authored three books, one on normal and abnormal swallowing. Special interests in swallowing include pharyngoesophageal interrelationships, post- polio dysphagia, systemic diseases and dysphagia, and psychogenic dysphagia.
