Sudarshan R. Jadcherla, MD, FRCP, DCH




Dr. Sudarshan R. Jadcherla is a Professor of Pediatrics (with tenure) at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, Columbus, OH, USA. He is also the Principal Investigator and Director of the Neonatal and Infant Feeding Disorders Research Program at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Jadcherla received his medical school training at Gandhi Medical College, India, and his diploma in Child Health at University College Dublin in Ireland. 



Dr. Jadcherla was awarded Membership and Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Dublin. He received his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neonatology at the Baylor College of Medicine, studying under Dr. Thomas Hansen and Dr. Carol Lynn Berseth. He received his advanced fellowship in Neonatal GI Physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, mentoring under Dr. Reza Shaker. Dr. Jadcherla is well published in the field of Developmental GI Motility, Dysphagia and Aero-digestive health in infants and has contributed to the development of innovative feeding strategies in high risk infants. His research is supported by the NIH (NIDDK). 

He has received key honors and awards such as the Masters Award in Gastroenterology for outstanding achievement in clinical digestive sciences by AGA, Research Excellence Award in Pediatric GI Sciences from IFFGD, and the March of Dimes Health Leadership Academic Award Nominee as a finalist.
