Virtual Meeting - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What payment methods does DRS take to purchase the recordings? How much do the webinars cost?

DRS offers affordable pricing ranging from $100 for members (free for training members) and $200 for non-members.  You can pay for your course subscriptions by:

  • Using a credit card
  • Sending a check through the mail

If you need special payment arrangements, such as paying for all members of a group with one check or anything else, please contact (not .com).

My video is not playing correctly, what should I do?

If your video playback isn't smooth, here are some things you can try:

  • Try letting the video buffer before you view it.
  • Close other bowser tabs and windows. This can make a huge difference!
  • Switch to another browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, to see if that helps.
  • Make sure you have a strong internet connection.
I lost my confirmation email with the link to the webinar(s), where can I get the links?

If you log into your account on the DRS website, please click on "GROUPS" in the "MY PROFILE" side bar. From here, select "CE Courses: DRS 2020 Webinar Series" under the "My Groups" section of your profile. All webinars, ASHA documents and other materials should be available here. Please see screenshots below for a visual representation. NOTE: Please allow up to 24 business hours to be added to the DRS 2020 Webinar Series group page after purchasing.

Why do I only have to watch one video for some sessions, but two for others?

Scientific Session I and II, V and VI, VII and VIII will BOTH need to be watched to claim the credits for these sessions. ASHA requires that webinars be at least 1 hour in length to offer credit. These webinars were less than one hour, so they are paired together to reach the time requirement. Partial credit is not available for these courses.

How do I get credit for the sessions I've viewed? How do I view my credits once I've received them?

Once you complete the learning assessment on the webinar you've completed, the DRS website will automatically award you CEUs and a certificate for the session. Please navigate to the "MANAGE PROFILE" button on the right-hand side of your screen. Once you click on this, you should be sent to a page entitled "MANAGE PROFILE". Under "CONTENT AND FEATURES" click on "PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT". Under this tab, you should be able to see the webinars you've received credit for. Please see screenshots below for a visual representation.

How do I receive CEUs for the sessions I've viewed?

If you are planning on claiming CEUs for these courses, please read the following:

  • If you DO NOT need ASHA credit, but would like a certificate for the course(s) you've taken, you will have to fill out the LEARNING ASSESSMENT FORM only.
  • If you DO need ASHA Credit, you will need to fill our the LEARNING ASSESSMENT FORM and the ASHA BUBBLE FORM. All bubble forms MUST be submitted through the submission portal.

ASHA submission dates are the following: June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. After December 31st, reporting dates will be at the end of every quarter. All links and documents will be provided upon purchase of the webinar package.

I am a non-member and would like to purchase the webinar series. How do I make an online account?

Please click here to create an online account. Click on the "Non-Affiliate" member type and submit your information. Please follow the instructions sent to the registration email after submission.

I want to purchase only one session - is this possible?

Unfortunately this is not an option, the 2020 DRS Annual Meeting Webinar Series is sold as a package.

How many total CEUs can I receive from watching the DRS 2020 Webinar Series?

There are 15.5 hours (or 1.50 CEUs) available in the DRS 2020 Webinar Series.

How do I use the Virtual Poster Hall?

Here are a couple of tips as you view the DRS posters:

  • When you arrive on the page, you will see an array of research presentations to scroll through. Please use the arrows to peruse the posters.
  • When you find a poster you’d like to view, click on the image to view the poster more in depth.
  • Viewers have the ability to contact the presenter as well. Click on “Contact Author” in the upper right corner if you have any questions about their work.
  • Poster presenters also had the option to upload a video or audio file to their poster. Some of our presenters may have taken advantage of this opportunity, so feel free to view at your leisure. Please note that not all posters will have this included.

If you have any questions, please contact the DRS office at (not .com).
