2021 DRS Abstract Submission Site FAQs

Would you like to present at the virtual 2021 Dysphagia Research Society's Annual Meeting? Share your interests and research with fellow colleagues by submitting your abstract to the ScholarOne submission site. Presenting a the professional conference is a great opportunity for you to:

Where do I go to make changes to my abstract once it is submitted? 

After logging in, select the "Submissions" tab and under "Action" select "Return to Draft" which will return the abstract to draft status. This will allow you to make further edits to the abstract. Please remember to re-submit the abstract before the deadline. 

When will I know whether or not my abstract has been accepted? 

The Dysphagia Research Society will be sending notification letters on the week of November 9th, 2020. 

Will I be able to make changes after the abstract submission deadline?  

Absolutely no deadline extensions will be available for the 2021 meeting. Do not  wait until the deadline to start the submission process. Since electronic submission systems can get backed up and other events (both natural and unnatural) can occur, please start and complete the application process early. 

Where do I go to submit my abstract for DRS once I am on the ScholarOne website?  

After logging in, select the “Submissions” tab. On the tool bar to the left of the screen, select “Create New Submission”. Once you have navigated to this page, please fill out the four corresponding steps to complete your abstract.

 Is my DRS website login the same as the abstract submission site login? 

No, while you can use the same information on both websites, the login is on a different platform. You will have to create a new account on the ScholarOne submission site.
