June is Dysphagia Awareness Month!

Sharing a meal with family and friends is a major means of socializing. Not being able to do so can be isolating if you have dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing. Seek out a specialist if you are having problems swallowing. The Dysphagia Research Society is working to define more clearly normal swallowing and ways to improve swallowing across the lifespan.
